Bahija Humphrey

Director, Performance and Analytics, City of San Diego

Bahija is Director of the Performance and Analytics Department of the City of San Diego. She is responsible for organizing City data and making it universally accessible and helpful to all users, both internal and external. Using municipal analytics, her team leverages data to drive decision-making efforts to better align services with needs and optimize taxpayer resources.

Before joining the City of San Diego, Bahija ran her own consulting firm, Humphrey Consulting, providing expert guidance in organizational development, process improvement and operational effectiveness. Prior to the launch of her firm, Bahija was the executive director of the Downtown San Diego Partnership Clean & Safe Program. In this role, she was instrumental in restructuring the organization and realigning company culture with strategic objectives. Drawing from her experience, she also advanced efforts to introduce innovative technology throughout the organization. Early in her career, Bahija worked in accounting, finance, software and data management.
