Chuck Burkhart is an information technology executive with 29 years of experience in both the private sector and non-profits

Burkhart’s professional career has focused on IT management with an emphasis on leveraging technology to attain business goals. His most recent position was IT Director for Medi-Share, a Melbourne, Florida-based medical insurance company. His other experience is with IT consulting firms, a call center startup and a non-profit foster care and adoption agency in Jacksonville.

As IT Director for the City of Palm Coast, Burkhart leads a department of 14 employees in four divisions: Applications, Operations, GIS, and Special Projects. One of his major assignments will be to advance key technological innovation priorities of the Palm Coast City Council, including expansion of the City’s fiber optic network known as FiberNet, wireless infrastructure and Smart City applications. Burkhart will serve as a member of the City’s Executive Team.
